Safety is not a footnote — it is the frame
PeakGevity competes on clarity and trust. That means saying what we are not: not a clinician, not an emergency service, not a diagnosis engine. If you only read one page before training hard, read this one.
Emergencies
If you believe you are experiencing a medical emergency — chest pain, sudden neurological deficits, severe shortness of breath, or thoughts of self-harm — call your local emergency number immediately. Software cannot triage emergencies reliably.
Medical boundaries
PeakGevity provides general fitness and wellness information. It does not diagnose, treat, or prevent disease. It does not replace a licensed clinician for medication decisions, lab interpretation, or rehabilitation protocols.
Pregnancy & special populations
If you are pregnant, postpartum, post-surgical, or managing chronic disease, your care team should lead training and nutrition changes. Use PeakGevity only in ways they approve.
Eating disorder history
Macro tracking and food logging can be harmful for some histories. If your clinician advises against self-tracking, follow their guidance. If logging increases anxiety or compulsive behavior, stop and seek support.
